  • classifyLocal: Report whether a zoneless local wall time is unique, ambiguous or nonexistent in a zone — before any policy resolves it.
  • fromOffsetInstant: Render an instant-plus-offset pair back to the local time it describes.
  • resolveLocal: Resolve a zoneless local wall time in a time zone and return the instant it names.
  • toOffsetInstant: Split an ISO 8601 instant string into the instant-plus-offset pair the world exchanges.

validate

  • isValidUtcOffset: Return true when value is a UTC offset in the form the offset-instant pair stores: ISO 8601 extended ±HH:MM, optionally ±HH:MM:SS.
